Writer of Many Songs

With influences as far spread as his southern roots are from California, Billy Estrada is a true genre-bending songwriter. A disciple of artists like Ray Charles, The Band, Taj Mahal, Waylon Jennings, Guy Clark, Ennio Morricone, and The Marshall Tucker Band, Billy Estrada weaves together musical genres like Roots, Country, Soul, Gospel, Southern Rock, Folk, Blues, Westerns, Instrumentals, and Story-filled Ballads. "Perhaps, if one song ain't your cup of tea - keep listening, I hope you'll find one that is."

Estrada's latest singles include a deep appreciation for the Mighty Oak, in the Americana-flavored, "Looking Back at Us"; the need to always come back home, in the ballad, "Home", an Old West story in "Henry's Redemption", a nod to Jerry Lee Lewis, in the swamp-rocker, "Killer on the Loose", an upbeat, Country Blues love letter in "Lucky Boy, Indeed" and the true story of when a dog met a baseball team, in "Legend of the Ballpark.
